Blackberry Still Top Smartphone

As of late, Blackberry is still the top smartphone on the market, but possibly not for long even with the release of the latest blackberry the "Torch". On wednesday, RIM's stock dropped 4% because of phones using the google andriod system. Apples IPhone followed RIM in popularity the US smartphone subscribers.

The Social Network - Top Film

Once again, The Social Network tops the box office in both USA and Canada taking in a wamping $15.5 million just this week. Sony said they spent less then 40 million dollars and they have already had $46 million in ticket sales since the October 1st release. If you don't already know, "The Social Network" is about the making of Facebook.

Coming in second in the box office last week was " Life as we know it" bringing in an impressive 14.5 million dollars in ticket sales, in the USA and Canada.

If you have not already seen The Social Network, even though I have not yet seen it, I highly suggest you go, I know ill be seeing it in the near future!

Brad Pitt - Airbrush

This is my picture of Brad Pitt for our Airbrush assignment. To make brad the way he looks in the final version, I followed all the steps in the tutorial provided to us.

I Was there - 2010 British Open

This is me in the Final Round at the 2010 British Open at St.Andrews Golf Club in Scotland. This Picture started out with Louis Oousthuizen (Winner of 2010 British Open) teeing off on the 18th hole in the final round. What i did to make the picture the way it is, was used the magnetic lasso to get Louis out of the picture, then took a picture of me from Facebook, and used the magnetic lasso to get me into the picture, i used the airbrush tool to edit the pieces from where Louis was. I also had to add the golf club to the picture, to do this, i used the line tool for the shaft, and then shrunk a picture of a club head, and used the magnetic lasso to make the club head by its self

Spaghetti Dinner Poster

This is my Poster for DR. Hope Spaghetti Dinner. For the background of the poster i used a picture of a bowl of spaghetti. The words on the poster all describe the events and activities that will be taking place at the dinner. For each of the words on the poster I used different warp text functions. Also for the Prizes and Happy face picture I used the magnetic lasso to crop the picture to the way it is.

NHL Today Magazine

This is my Magazine cover for the NHL Today. For my magazine cover, i used the NHL logo as the background, used the magnetic lasso to cut out the NHL players ( Alexander Ovechkin, Taylor Hall, and Martin Brodeur. The Captions on the left and right hand side above the players are articles that are inside this months version of NHL Today.
