It is true just about every person has a cell phone now a days, and a lot of people even have smart phones (Blackberry, iPhones). These phones have been causing a lot problems, people dyeing in car accidents from people texting or calling someone. There is even cases of people who drive busses and trains texting while they are on the job, causing them to get into accidents, with passengers onboard. Since these cases Canada has released a law that you can't be on your phone while your driving, you must either have a cell phone feature built into the car, or use a bluetooth headphone. 

They has also been a case where a lady was walking down the street and the city had left a man hole cover off, she was texting not paying attention to where she was walking or what was in front of her, and she fell down the man hole. In washington, USA, two people have set a rehab centre for people who are addicted to their cell phones. Although people might think this is a good idea, it comes at a high price, $27,000 for a 90 day period.
